CoronaVirus & the work of Tree Surgeons
The threat of the Omicron Corona Virus variant is challenging how many companies are operating in the runup to Christmas. But tree surgeons, however, are still hard at work working on trees that have been damaged by the recent Autumnal storms. Tree surgeons are still taking precautions to safeguard employees and clients, and are closely listening out for any new government advice, but for now, the virus isn't affecting the work of local tree services as they go about their vital work.
Social Distancing
Local tree service providers are adhering to social distance advice, keeping a minimum of 2 metres between their clients, and if feasible, travelling in separate vehicles. The majority of the jobs are completed by a single tree surgeon, but if a job does require more than one employee and any member feels unwell, they are to take a Corona Test and self isolate on a positive result.
Cleaning
As a general rule, tree surgeons should thoroughly clean their equipment after each job to avoid the risk of transmission. Clothing and personal safety gear is also regularly cleaned and inspected for damage. All tree surgeons have access to hand sanitiser at all times and are regularly cleaning their hands whilst they work.
Following government regulations
Local tree service providers follow all of the government's current recommendations and guidelines, and if such a time comes when operations are further restricted, they won’t hesitate to follow any new rules. We’re all taking each day as it comes, following the government's social distancing rules, ever hopeful that we can all be allowed to keep working.
Whilst we appreciate that local tree services may not be at the top of many people's priorities list right now, we should all still be seeking the help of local tree service providers if we are concerned about a damaged tree.
